We are so excited to be sponsoring the 3rd Annual Indy Trumpet Day put together by Kent Hickey on Saturday, June 22nd! Over the past 3 years we have seen this event grow into a must attend for area trumpet players of all levels. This year, we will be sponsoring Jason Bergman as one of the guest artists! Dr. Bergman serves on faculty as an Associate Professor of Music in Trumpet at Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music and has served on faculty at the University of North Texas, Brigham Young University, and University of Southern Mississippi. He has also served as President of the International Trumpet Guild and performed throughout the United States, South America, Europe, and China. Dr. Bergman is a Yamaha Performing Artist and plays exclusively Yamaha trumpets.

The day will also feature guest artist Dr. Ansyn Banks who is the Professor of Jazz Trumpet at the University of Louisville! You will not want to miss his clinic! Other contributing artists include Indianapolis’ own Allen Miller who is Acting Assistant Principal Trumpet for the Indianapolis Symphony and teaches at Butler University. Allen is one of the premier trumpeters in Indiana and one of the best educators in the Indianapolis region. If you have not learned from Allen, you are missing out! The day will also feature additional area educators and freelance players adding incredible advice and expertise.

Paige’s Music will also be there to display some of our inventory and answer any questions that you might have!
