“The creative arts are the measure and reflection of our civilization. They offer many children an opportunity to see life with a larger perspective…The moral values we treasure are reflected in the beauty and truth that is emotionally transmitted through the arts. The arts say something about us to future generations.”
Over the summer we visited the Symphonic Youth Orchestra to interview some of their students. We were curious to find out how music has influenced them throughout their school careers, as well as how it has prepared them for the future. Next up is Adia Mimms from Lawrence North High School. Please take a couple of minutes to get to know her and how music has shaped her school career.
A big thank you to Shawn Goodman and the rest of the staff at the Symphonic Youth Orchestra. To learn more about the SYO please visit their website at https://www.syogi.org.

Having personally played this horn on several occasions, there is just a sense of ease and control that comes with it. Nothing feels forced, response is immediate, there is a noticeable difference in the vibration influenced by the side-seamed bell as opposed to the bottom-seam on standard models, and the tone is exactly as the description reads… BRILLIANT!
Anyone is welcome to come into the store at any time to try out this outstanding trumpet and consider owning a piece of Vincent Bach history.
